Boots, U.K. has an office at Plot No- 1494/1 in Sector-2/C, Gandhinagar. It’s a bit of a trek for some of us, but the area is well-organized and easy to navigate. We’ve been operating from this plot in Gujarat for a while. The office itself is quite plain. We have our desks, our computers, and a small area where we keep the kettle for making tea. We aren't the kind of place that has big corporate events or fancy decorations. It’s mostly just a group of us getting through the daily list of tasks. We spend a lot of time dealing with logistics and making sure things are where they need to be. It’s not the most glamorous work, but it keeps us busy. We don't use any of those buzzwords that you see in big business magazines. We just talk like normal people and try to get the work done without any unnecessary drama. Sometimes the office gets a bit hot in the afternoons, so we have the fans going full blast. We’ve gotten to know the other people working in Sector-2/C over the years, so it feels like a nice little community. We don't have any big promises to make; we just show up, do our jobs, and go home to our families at the end of the day. It’s a steady, normal life for us here at the office.
