Barbeque-Nation

We are over here in Ahmedabad, specifically in the 382424 area of Gujarat. Most people know the name Barbeque-Nation, but for us, it’s just the place where we work every day. We aren't the ones in the big corporate headquarters; we are the ones on the ground making sure the grills are hot and the food is ready. The atmosphere is usually pretty smoky and loud, but that’s what happens when you’re cooking for a crowd. We don't have time for fancy marketing talk or polished speeches. We just focus on getting the charcoal started and making sure there is enough salt in the marinade. The staff is a mix of young guys and some older folks who have been around since we opened. We don't always get everything perfect, but we try to fix things quickly when they go wrong. It’s a lot of physical work, standing on our feet for hours and carrying heavy trays. We don't have any grand "mission." We just want to make sure the food tastes like it should and that everyone leaves full. The building is practical, designed to handle a lot of people coming through the doors. We’ve seen a lot of families celebrate birthdays here, and that’s the best part of the job. We are just a bunch of regular people in Ahmedabad who enjoy the smell of a good fire and a busy dining room.
