This Barbeque-Nation spot is a unit of the Sayaji Hotel from Indore, but we are based here in Chhindwara, MP. Our address is right in the district, and we handle the hospitality side of things for the local area. It is a lot of work keeping up with the grills and the food prep every day. Chhindwara is a bit quieter than Indore, but we still get plenty of people coming in, especially on the weekends. The kitchen is always a busy place with plenty of noise and steam. We have a good sized staff to manage the tables and make sure everyone is fed. The building is a solid structure and we try to keep it looking decent, though the floors need a lot of scrubbing after a busy shift. We get our supplies from local vendors whenever we can. It’s a lot of physical work, being on your feet and dealing with the heat from the barbecue pits. We don't have a lot of fancy office space; it is mostly about the dining floor and the kitchen area. Sometimes the weather makes it tough to keep the place cool, but we do what we can with the air conditioning. It is a practical business. We just focus on getting the food out and making sure the coal is hot enough. It’s a bit of a grind, but that’s just the restaurant business for you when you're working in the hospitality sector.
