Assistant F & B Manager

This office is tucked away inside the Fortune Hotel Land Mark. It’s part of the ITC Welcome Group here in Ahmedabad. Being an Assistant F & B Manager means I spend a lot of time walking around the different floors, but this is the home base. The hotel is a well-known spot in the city. It’s always busy with guests coming in and out for meals or staying the night. Working in the food and beverage side of things keeps us on our toes. There is always a list of things to check on or a kitchen issue to look at. Ahmedabad has a lot of places to eat, but being part of this group is different. The building itself is quite big and has been a landmark for a while now. My day usually starts early and ends whenever the last service is done. It’s not a desk job where you sit still. You’re always talking to the staff or checking the supplies. It can be stressful when it’s crowded, but that’s just the nature of the work. We don't have a lot of time for fancy talk. We just focus on the plates and the people. The address is easy to find if you know the city. It’s just a practical, busy place to be every single day. We keep things moving as best as we can without making too much of a fuss about it.
