Our office for Arzoo.Com is situated right opposite Inductotherm in the Bopal area of Ahmedabad. Bopal has changed so much since we first started out here. It used to be a lot quieter, but now there are buildings going up everywhere you look. We have stayed in this same spot through all of it. Our workspace is very basic. We don't have a lobby or a receptionist to greet people. Usually, if you walk in, you will just see a few of us hunched over our computers. We prefer it that way. It is a quiet environment where we can actually focus on what we are doing. The heat in this part of India can be quite intense, so we spent some money on a decent air conditioning unit, which is probably the most expensive thing in the room. We don't care much for polished appearances. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. We usually bring our own lunch or grab something quick from the small stalls nearby. It is a very normal, everyday kind of life here. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy address or expensive office chairs. We just want to make sure our work is done right by the end of the day. It is a small operation, and we like the independence that comes with that. There is no corporate manual here, just us doing our jobs.
