Arex Labs is on Plot No. 347/1 in Sector 12-C of Gandhinagar. Being in Gujarat’s capital is a bit different from being in the middle of Ahmedabad because things feel a little more organized here, though the heat is still the same. The lab isn't a giant facility with glass walls and scientists in white coats everywhere. It’s a more grounded setup in a regular building. We have our equipment and our benches where we spend most of the day. The pin code here is 382012. Sector 12-C is a decent area, not too crowded but busy enough that you don't feel isolated. We’ve got a small break room where the fridge makes a weird humming sound, but we’re used to it by now. There isn't any fancy marketing team here writing things for us. It’s just us, the staff, trying to get the testing and the results right. We don't always have everything perfectly in its place, but we know where everything is when we need it. The work can be a bit repetitive, but it’s what we do. We mostly just keep our heads down and focus on the tasks at hand. Sometimes the stray dogs outside bark at the delivery trucks, but otherwise, it’s a fairly quiet spot to work in Gandhinagar. We just focus on the science and the day-to-day tasks that need finishing before we go home.
