Annapurna Caterers

You can find us at 9, Patel Society, right across from the Ramujilal Memorial Hall. We are close to Jawahar Chowk in Maninagar. This is where Annapurna Caterers operates every day. Our kitchen is usually a hive of activity from the early hours. There’s always someone peeling onions or boiling rice for the next order. We chose this spot because it's right in the middle of a lively neighborhood. We provide food for many local events and families around here. It’s not a corporate operation at all. It’s just a group of us who enjoy making traditional meals. Sometimes the heat in the kitchen is almost too much, but we keep going. We don't have a marketing department or anything like that. People find us because they’ve tasted our cooking at a friend’s wedding or a local festival. We try to use fresh stuff we get from the market every morning. The hall across the street has events all the time, so we are often busy with those. It’s a lot of lifting heavy containers and making sure the spices are just right. We’ve had the same staff for a long time, so we all know what needs to be done without talking much. If you need food for a gathering, you can just come to the back door and find us. We are usually there till late at night cleaning up. It’s a busy life but we are used to it by now.
