We’ve been sitting here in the Madhav Complex for a while now. It’s right near the R.C. Technical College in Ghatlodiya. Mostly, we just help people get where they need to go, whether it's a train ticket or a bus trip. It started out small, just a desk and a phone really. Ahmedabad is a busy place, and everyone is always trying to get away for a few days or visit family. We spend a lot of time on the computer looking at routes and schedules. Sometimes the internet is slow, but we get it done. People come in from the neighborhood, sometimes just to ask about prices for next month. We don't have a big fancy office with leather chairs. It's just a regular spot on the fifth floor where we keep our files and maps. Most days are just answering calls and writing down names. It gets loud outside with the college traffic, but we are used to it by now. We try to keep things simple because travel is already complicated enough for most folks. If you are around Ghatlodiya, you probably know where the building is. We just keep doing what we do every day, making sure the bookings are right and the dates match up. It’s not a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy and we know the local routes well. We just take things as they come.
