Akbar Travels Of India

We spend most of our days here at Crystal Arcade on C.G. Road. It gets pretty busy in this part of Ahmedabad, especially when folks are trying to sort out their holiday plans or need to book a flight last minute. Most people know us as Akbar Travels Of India. We’ve been sitting in this same spot, room 101, for a while now. It’s not a fancy setup, just some desks, computers, and a lot of paper work. If you walk in, you’ll probably see us on the phone or typing away trying to find a route that actually works. Traveling is complicated these days with all the rules changing, so we mostly just handle the boring stuff like visas and bookings so others don't have to. Sometimes the coffee machine breaks or the internet slows down right when we’re in the middle of something, but we manage. We aren't trying to change the world or anything, we just help people get from one place to another without too much of a headache. The office is easy to find if you’re near the arcade. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. It’s a lot of work keeping track of schedules and prices, but it keeps us occupied. If someone needs a ticket to go visit family or for a work trip, they usually just drop by and tell us what they need. We do our best to get it sorted while they wait. That's pretty much it for us here in Gujarat.
