Our office for Akbar Travels Of India P Ltd is actually located at Dipin Divakaran Kanjoor House. It’s tucked away in Inchamudi, over in the Chirakkal area of Thrissur. If you know the roads around here in Kerala, you know it’s a bit different from the big city offices. We work out of a house, which makes the whole day feel a lot more relaxed than being in some tall building in the middle of a traffic jam. There is always a bit of green around us and the air is better. We spend most of our time dealing with travel bookings and all that stuff that goes into planning a trip. It can get a bit hectic when everyone wants to go on holiday at the same time, but we manage. My desk is usually covered in notes and schedules. We’ve been at this address for a good while, so the locals know the Kanjoor House name. Sometimes people just drop by to ask a quick question about a flight or a train. It’s not a formal place where you have to wear a suit every day. We just get the work done and keep things moving for the people who rely on us. It’s a small team here, and we like the way things run. Being in a P.O. area like Inchamudi means things move at a steady pace.
