Our office is on the first floor of Chandrika Society in the Gordhanvadi Tekra area. It’s right near Kankaria, so the whole place feels very lived-in and busy. You have to walk up a flight of narrow stairs to get to us, and the railing is a bit wobbly. We deal with airline stuff, but we aren't at the airport; we are tucked away in this residential society. The room is filled with the sound of printers humming and people talking on their mobile phones. We have big calendars on the wall with planes on them, though they are a couple of years old now. Outside the window, you can see the street life of Maninagar, with vendors selling snacks and kids playing after school. It gets quite loud in the evenings. We drink a lot of tea here, usually brought in from the shop downstairs in steel glasses. The floor is covered in old linoleum that has worn down in the spots where the chairs roll. We don't have a big sign outside, just a small board that points people up the stairs. It is a bit cramped when more than three customers show up at once, so they usually end up leaning against the wall while they wait. We’ve been in this society for a long time, and we know the neighbors well. It is just a simple place where we manage travel details for people in the local area. No big fancy glass windows here.
