We have students coming in from all over Gujarat, hoping to get a job in the sky. The apartment building isn't anything special to look at from the outside, but inside we have our rooms set up for the training. There is a lot of talking about manners and how to serve food on a plane. It gets a bit crowded when a new batch starts up. We spend most of our time going over rules and how to look the part. Sometimes the elevator in the building is a bit moody, so we just take the stairs. The neighborhood is mostly families, so they see our students walking in and out in their uniforms every day. It makes for a nice atmosphere, actually. We don't have a big fancy lobby with marble floors. It is more of a practical place where people come to learn a skill. Our staff has been around for years and we just know how things work in this part of the city. Usually, by the afternoon, the chai guy comes around and we take a quick breather.
