We’ve been here on Nikol Naroda Road for a while now. Most people in Nikol Gam know where we are. It’s a bit of an odd mix, having music and self-defence in the same building, but it works for us. One room might have someone practicing a guitar riff and the next room has kids learning how to block a punch. We started this because there wasn't much to do around here for hobbies. My brother handles the music side and I look after the martial arts. It gets pretty loud in the evenings when the classes are full. The building isn't huge, but we make the most of the space. We have instruments tucked in corners and mats laid out on the floor. It’s not fancy, just a place to learn stuff. People come in after work or school. Sometimes the parents sit outside on the plastic chairs and wait while their kids finish up. We don't have a big office or anything, just a desk near the door where we keep the registers. It’s a busy spot, especially on weekends. We try to keep things simple. If someone wants to learn a song or needs to know how to protect themselves, they just walk in and talk to us. We’ve seen a lot of local kids grow up here, starting with small instruments and moving on to bigger things. It’s just how things go at the Academy of Music Cultivation and School of Self Defence. We're right near the main road so it's easy to find us.
