A P Social Welfare Residential School

You can find our school on the third floor of Shoppers Plaza 3, which is on C.G Road in Navrangpura. It’s right in the middle of a busy part of Ahmedabad. This is a residential school, so the kids don't just study here, they live here too. Because of that, the building is always full of life, from early morning until the lights go out at night. We have dorm rooms with simple metal beds and a big dining hall where we serve basic meals. It’s a very functional place. We don't have fancy decorations or expensive equipment. The walls are mostly plain, and the furniture is built to last through years of kids using it. Our staff stays on-site a lot of the time to make sure everyone is doing okay. We follow a routine that keeps things from getting too messy. There’s time for study, time for eating, and a little bit of time for the kids to just be kids in the common areas. Being on the third floor of a shopping plaza is a bit different, but we’ve made it work for us. It’s a safe space for these students. We don't make big claims about what we do. We just provide a place to stay and a way for them to get through their lessons every day. It’s a lot of responsibility, and we just take it one day at a time.
