We are located right opposite the Hotel Mughal Sheraton on Fatehabad Road. It’s a very busy spot because of all the tourists coming to see the Taj Mahal and the other sights in Agra. You can see the big hotel entrance from our front door. We’ve been here for many years, passed down from father to son. The shop is filled with various items we’ve collected and made. It can get a bit dusty because of the road being so busy with cars and rickshaws all day. We spend a lot of time sitting out front or at the main counter, greeting people who wander in. Some people just want to look around, and that’s fine with us. We have our work area in the back where we handle the more hands-on stuff. It’s not a very big space, so things tend to get a bit cluttered. We’ve got old photos on the walls from when the business first started. It reminds us of where we came from. We usually drink a lot of tea throughout the day and chat with the neighbors who have shops nearby. We don't use any modern marketing tricks. We just rely on being in a good location and treating people fairly when they come in. The evenings are the busiest when the sun goes down and people are out walking. We stay open until quite late, just watching the world go by on Fatehabad Road every single night.
