Gupta Paan House

Gupta Paan House is located on Agra Road, just a short walk from Karachi Wala Chowk. It is a busy part of the city and there is always something going on near the chowk with all the vendors and traffic. We have a small shop where we make all different types of paan for the people who live around here and the folks passing through. It is a simple setup with just a few jars and the leaves kept fresh under a wet cloth to keep the heat away. We start early in the day to get everything ready for the afternoon rush. A lot of people stop by after their lunch or dinner for a quick paan. We have some regular customers who have been coming to us for years and they don't even have to tell us what they want, we already know their taste. It is not a very big space, so it can get a bit tight when more than three people are waiting at the counter. We don't have any big signs or bright lights, just the name of the shop painted on top. My brother and I take turns sitting at the counter throughout the day. Agra Road can be very dusty and loud with all the trucks, but we like the energy of the place. We don't use any fancy ingredients, just the traditional stuff that tastes right. It is a local business and we are proud to be part of the community here near Karachi Wala Chowk.
