Rajdhani

We are over at No. 2 Alka Puri, right near the Pratap Nagar crossing. Most people just call the place Rajdhani. It’s a straightforward setup we have here. We don't really have any big signs or bright lights. It’s just a shop where we keep the things people in the neighborhood need. The crossing outside gets really crowded in the evenings, so it can be hard to find a place to park. We’ve been here for a while now, watching the buildings around us go up. Inside, it’s mostly shelves and a counter where we sit. We spend a lot of time just keeping things organized and making sure we don't run out of stock. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except for the noise of the traffic. We know most of the people who walk in by their first names. We don’t really do any of that fancy marketing stuff. If someone needs something, they know where we are. In the mornings, we open up early and get the floor cleaned before the sun gets too high. Sometimes we just sit and talk about the news with whoever stops by. It isn't a huge operation, just a local business trying to stay busy. We have a small fan that keeps us cool during the summer months. It’s a decent way to spend the day, really. Nothing too complicated or fancy about how we run things.
