Green View Restaurant

We are set up over at the Eastern Gate of the Taj Mahal, right inside the Aryans Taj Resort on VIP Road. Being opposite the Taj Nature Walk means we see a lot of greenery and people walking by all day. It’s a busy corner of Agra, but it’s also quite nice because of all the trees nearby. We spend our mornings getting the tables ready and making sure the kitchen is stocked with whatever we need for the day's menu. It’s a lot of work because tourists are always coming and going at different times. We try to keep things relaxed even when the lunch rush gets a bit chaotic. Sometimes the power flickers or we have to wait on a delivery from the market, but that’s just part of running a restaurant in this part of town. We don’t go for anything too flashy or complicated. We just want to serve food that tastes like someone actually cared while making it. The staff knows most of the guides and photographers who work around the gate. We’ve seen the seasons change here for a while now. Some days it’s too hot to move, and other days the fog is so thick you can barely see the road. We just keep the lights on and stay ready for the next group of people looking for a seat and a meal.
