Duracon Vitrified Pvt. Ltd.

We started Duracon Vitrified Pvt. Ltd. over on Sartanpar Road, which sits just off the 8-A National Highway in Wankaner. This region is pretty well known for tile production, so we fit right in with the other industrial plants around here. It is a large space because the presses and the long ovens take up a lot of room. We are not the type to sit behind desks all day; most of us are usually out on the floor checking the vitrified slabs as they come through the line. The Sartanpar Road area is always busy, especially in the mornings when the different shifts are changing over. It is a dusty environment, and your shoes never stay clean for long, but that is just the nature of the work we do. We have had many long days and late nights at this location, especially when a machine needs fixing or a large order has to be loaded onto a truck by dawn. We do not have a team for marketing or anyone to write fancy brochures. It is just a group of local people trying to keep the production moving. Sometimes the highway traffic slows down the deliveries, but we have learned to plan around those delays over the years. We take things as they come and try not to get too worked up when it gets hectic. It is just the way things go in Wankaner. (251 words)
