If you drive down the 8/a National Highway near Dhuva, you’ll find us. Varmora Granito is located out here in the Taluka Wakaner area. It’s a busy stretch of road with a lot of trucks carrying stone and tiles. Our daily life involves a lot of noise from the highway and the factory. Everything here is about the granite and the slabs. We see a lot of raw material coming in and finished pieces going out. The office is right there on the site, so you can always hear the work going on. It’s a dusty environment; there’s no real way around it. We wear sturdy shoes because the ground is never perfectly flat or clean. The sun is quite strong in this part of Gujarat. We start early to get ahead of the heat. Most of us live nearby, so we know the local area well. We aren’t trying to impress anyone with a shiny lobby or polished talk. We just show the stone as it is. Some days the power goes out and everything goes quiet for a bit, which is a weird change from the usual rumble. We just wait it out and get back to it. The highway is always humming with the sound of tires on the road. We don't have a receptionist in a suit; you usually just walk in and talk to whoever isn't busy. It’s a simple, tough job.
