White House Tiles Pvt. Ltd. is located at Plot No. 1 in the G. I. D. C. Industrial Estate. We’re right off the 8-a National Highway, basically sitting besides the Toll Plaza in Waghasia. Being that close to the toll means there is always a line of trucks and the sound of horns, day and night. It’s a busy spot to be. We’ve been in this industrial estate for quite a while, and we’ve seen a lot of other businesses come and go. We stay focused on our tile production. The factory floor is always humming with the sound of the machines. It’s not a quiet job, but we like the rhythm of it. We don’t have a fancy corporate office. Our workspace is pretty much just part of the warehouse where we’ve set up some tables and computers. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow out here, which can be frustrating when we’re trying to send out invoices, but we manage. Most of the guys working here are from the nearby villages. We know each other well and look out for one another. We don’t put on airs or pretend to be something we’re not. We just make tiles and try to make sure they reach the customers in one piece. It’s a lot of lifting and moving boxes, but that’s the life of a tile worker.
