Landgrace Ceramic Pvt. Ltd.

Out here on the National Highway-8A, things are always moving. Our place, Landgrace Ceramic Pvt. Ltd., is right opposite Devka Dungar. If you know the Sartanpar Road area in Morbi, you know it’s mostly dust and trucks and a lot of manufacturing going on. It’s not the quietest place to work, but it’s where the industry is located. We spend our days dealing with clay, kilns, and the heat that comes with making tiles. The highway is right there, so we see a constant stream of traffic heading toward the port or other cities. Sometimes the dust from the road gets into everything, even with the windows shut tight. We aren't doing anything complicated, just making sure the production line stays running and the workers have what they need for their shifts. It’s a lot of physical work and keeping an eye on the machinery every single hour. We have a small office area where we handle the billing and talk to the drivers who come to pick up their loads. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, especially during the summer months in Wankaner. We usually just have some tea and keep pushing through the orders. It’s just a standard factory life for us. We don’t have any big speeches to give about what we do. We just make the ceramics and try to get them out the gate on time.
