Sri Ashok College

Sri Ashok College is located in a place called Jammu in the Vizianagaram district. It is not a very big town, so our college is one of the main spots where students from the surrounding villages come to study. The address is 535003 if you are looking for the postal code. We have a simple building with a few rows of classrooms and an area where the students can sit during their lunch breaks. The desks are made of wood and they have been around for quite a few years. It is a quiet place most of the time, except for when the classes change or when there is a local festival going on nearby. The staff here is small and we all know each other’s names. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that; we just open the gates in the morning and start the day. Sometimes the ceiling fans make a lot of noise, and the walls could probably use some new paint, but it doesn’t stop the work from happening. Most of our students are hard-working kids who want to get a decent education without going all the way to the bigger cities. We try to help them with their forms and their books as much as we can. It’s a very basic, honest sort of place where things move at a steady pace and everyone just does their job. It’s been part of the local landscape for years now.
