Kodi Ramamurty College is out on Balijipeta Road in the Kalavarai Agraharam area of Vizianagaram. We are at 6-1-5/B if you are looking for the exact number. It’s a quiet part of the district, which is good for focusing on the work. The building has been here for years and it’s a simple, no-frills kind of place. We don’t have air conditioning in every room or plush carpets. It’s just solid walls, ceiling fans, and wooden benches. Most of our students come from the surrounding rural areas and they travel a fair distance to get here every day. We try to make them feel welcome and keep the office open for any questions they might have about their studies. There is a small courtyard where everyone sits during the break to eat their lunch. You won't find any fancy marketing here. We just focus on showing up and getting the lectures finished. The teachers are locals who have been in education for a long time. They know how to handle the classes without needing a lot of modern gadgets. We keep a lot of our records in big paper ledgers because that’s how we’ve always done it. It’s a very traditional way of running a college, and it seems to work fine for everyone involved. We just take it one day at a time here on Balijipeta Road. It’s not a big fancy institution, but it’s our place.
