Chaitanya Degree College

If you go down to Srinivasa Colony in Singavarapukota, you’ll see Chaitanya Degree College. It’s located at 13-1. We have been part of the Vizianagaram area for a bit. The building has several floors and lots of rooms for the different degree classes. Every morning, the students arrive from the surrounding villages. Some come by bus and some walk. It’s a lively spot. The faculty here are local people mostly. They know the area well. We spend our days teaching and checking assignments. The office is always full of papers because there is always something to sign or file away. It isn’t the most modern place, but it works for us. We have a library that stays pretty full during the afternoons. Students sit there and study together. Singavarapukota is a nice place to work. It’s not too far from the main city but quiet enough to get things done. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just focus on the classes. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to wait it out or move closer to the windows. That is just life here. We see a lot of faces come and go over the years. Some students come back to visit after they graduate. It’s nice to see them doing well. We are just a regular college trying to help people get their degrees. It is a simple place for simple goals.
