We are located at 3-23A, Vava Street, right in the heart of Sithayankottai. It’s part of the Athoor Taluk in the Dindigul district. Tniamp 2019-2020 Manjalaru Sub Basin Farmer Producer Company Limited was put together by a group of us who live and work along the Manjalaru sub-basin area. The office is pretty simple, just a spot on Vava Street where we can gather and store some records. Sithayankottai is the kind of place where everyone knows everyone, so we don't really need a big sign outside. Most days, someone is dropping by to ask about fertilizer or to see how the group's sales are going. We started this back around 2019, and it has been a learning curve for all of us. We aren't experts at the business side of things, but we know the land around the 624708 area very well. The building we use is older and has its quirks, like the door that sticks when it’s humid, but it works for what we need. We spend a lot of time talking about the water levels and how they affect the crops in the basin. It’s a lot of talking and a lot of tea, really. We just want to make sure the farmers in our little corner of Dindigul get a fair shake when it comes time to sell what they’ve worked hard to grow.
