Ragav Farmers Producer Company Limited

Our office is at 390/1 on Asari Pillaiyar Koil Street North. It’s in the Devadhanam area of Virudhunagar. If you know the local temple, we are right nearby. Ragav Farmers is a group we started because we wanted to have a place where farmers could work together. Virudhunagar has a lot of history with agriculture, and we are just another part of that. We spend our days mostly dealing with the logistics of farming. It isn't always exciting. There is a lot of counting bags, checking quality, and making sure everyone is getting paid what they should. The building we are in is an old one, but it works for us. We don't need anything fancy. A couple of fans and a few sturdy tables are enough. People from the village come in to talk about their crops or the rain. We listen and try to help where we can. We aren't some big city company. We are just local folks. The work is hard and the sun is hot, but we keep at it. Sometimes the paperwork gets backed up because we’d rather be out talking to the growers. We don't use a lot of big words or marketing talk. We just tell it like it is. If the harvest is good, everyone is happy. If not, we figure out how to get through it together. That’s what being a producer company is about for us. Just staying local and keeping the farm business moving along as best as we can.
