Meshavaram Agricultural Producer Company Limited is located right on Kariyapatti Road at number 5/639. We’re basically a group of farmers and people from the area who decided to work together. It’s not a big fancy operation with a glass front or anything like that. It’s more of a practical place where we handle the logistics of what we grow. Being on the main road helps with getting trucks in and out, though traffic can be a pain in the afternoon. We spend a lot of time talking to the local growers about their harvests and what is coming next. Some seasons are better than others, which is just part of farming. We don't use a lot of big words or complicated systems here. Most of our records are kept in simple ledgers and on a basic computer in the corner. If you come by, you’ll probably see us sorting through stuff or talking on the phone with suppliers. It gets a bit dusty being so close to the road, but we're used to it by now. We just want to make sure the produce gets where it needs to go without too much fuss. It's hard work and the hours are long during harvest time. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to write pretty speeches. We just know our crops and we know our neighbors. That’s enough for us. The building is a bit old, but it serves its purpose.
