Gundar Collective Farming Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of No.2/12, West Street in Thoppalakarai. We are in the Aruppukottai Taluk area. We are a group of farmers who live and work around here, and we decided to form this company to make our lives a little bit easier. Managing a farm is hard enough, but trying to sell what you grow and buy what you need as a single person is even harder. That’s why we have this office on West Street. It’s a simple building where we keep our records and meet up to talk about the work. We don't have any big slogans or a fancy way of talking to people. We just talk about the soil, the seeds, and the money we need to keep things going. Sometimes we stay late to finish the accounts or to wait for a truck that’s running behind on its schedule. It’s just the way it is. Everyone in the group has a say in what happens, which makes things take a bit longer sometimes when we are making decisions, but it’s more honest that way. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, just a reliable one for the people in Aruppukottai Taluk.
