Kedarnath Agro Industries

Kedarnath Agro Industries operates out of the Ganesh Complex on Keelakadai Street. We are up on the second floor at 62-G. This street is always packed with people and carts, as it is a major hub for trading in this area. Climbing up to the second floor gets you away from some of the noise, but you can still hear the shouting of the vendors below. Our space in the complex is used for managing the agro side of things, mostly dealing with grains and local produce. It is a simple setup with a few desks and some samples of the stuff we trade sitting in bags in the corner. The walls are painted a plain color and we have some old calendars hanging up. We spend the day talking to farmers and the people who run the local shops. It is a lot of counting and checking quality and making sure the prices are fair for everyone involved. The stairs in the complex are a bit steep, so we don't go down more than we have to during the heat of the day. It is a very practical way of living and working, without any unnecessary extras. We just focus on the agricultural cycles and making sure the products move from the fields to the market without sitting in the warehouse for too long.
