You can find our office at No.2A, Nehruji Road, right in the heart of Viluppuram. It is a busy street, and there’s always someone walking by or a bike honking outside. Viluppuram Consortium Of Farmer Producercompany Limited is a group of local farmers trying to organize ourselves a bit better. Most of our members spend their days out on the land, but this office is where we come to talk business. It’s a simple room with some old fans and a few chairs that have seen better days. We don't have a receptionist or a coffee machine; we just make our own tea and get down to work. We talk about the crops, the rainy season, and how to get a better price for what we grow. It is not always easy, and sometimes we have long arguments about the best way to do things. But at the end of the day, we are all neighbors from around the Viluppuram area. We don't use fancy talk or try to sound like a big city company. We are just local people doing what we’ve always done, just more together now. If you’re on Nehruji Road, you’ll see our sign.
