Girivalam Farmer Producer Company Limited

We are over at No.51/E on Kulathu Street in Su.Valavetti Village. The Girivalam Farmer Producer Company Limited has been here for a bit now. It’s a small village setup. We are right on the street near the local pond, which is where the street gets its name. Most of our work is just coordinating between the farmers in the post area and the buyers. It’s a lot of phone calls and sitting on the porch waiting for deliveries. We don't have a lot of fancy office furniture. It’s mostly just some benches and a big table where we spread out the paperwork. The village is quiet, and we like it that way. We aren't looking to become some giant company. We just want to make sure the people in Su.Valavetti can get their farming done and sell their crops for something decent. It’s hard work and the sun can be brutal in the afternoons. Sometimes we close up early if there’s nothing going on, or stay late if a truck is delayed. It’s not a nine-to-five kind of place. We live nearby, so we are always around if someone needs something. It’s a basic, honest way to run a business. We just take things one day at a time and see how the season goes. There isn't much more to it than that. We are just part of the village like everyone else.
