Tniamp Ii Aalaiyaru Farmer Producer Company Limited is the name we use for our farmers' group here in Tharadapattu Village. Our base is at No.200, Bajanai Kovil Streettharadapattu Village & Post. It’s a small place in the post area of the village. Most of us living around here are involved in farming one way or another. We set this company up to help move our products better. The office is really just a room where we keep the scales and the logbooks. It’s located on Bajanai Kovil Street, which is the heart of our village. You can usually find one of us there in the afternoons after the morning field work is done. We don't have fancy brochures or a website. Word of mouth is how most people find us in Tharadapattu. The building is simple, made of brick and mortar, and it stays relatively cool in the heat. We deal with whatever the season brings, whether it’s pulses or grains. My nephew helps me with the writing part of the business because my hands are better suited for tools. We’ve had some tough years with the weather, but we keep going because this is our land. If you ever find yourself in Tharadapattu Village, just look for the temple street and you’ll find us at number 200. We’re just regular folks doing our best. Most of our neighbors stop by to borrow a tool or just to see how things are going.
