Ocean Star Farmer Producer Company Limited is found at C/Oarchanadas Stella Maris Social Centre, Kottakarai Road. We are based out of the social centre there, which is a nice place for us to meet. Being on Kottakarai Road, we are part of the local community and we try to keep things simple. We are a farmer producer company, but the name "Ocean Star" reminds us of where we are. We don't have a big fancy office of our own, so being at Stella Maris works out well for everyone. The atmosphere is very down-to-earth. We talk about farming, we talk about the weather, and we try to help the members whenever they have a problem. There are no high-level managers here, just folks who know how to grow things and want to do it together. The social centre is always a bit busy with different things going on, which we like. It keeps us connected to the people around us. Our days are filled with small tasks and local conversations. We don't have a polished website or a marketing person. If you want to know about us, you just come to the Kottakarai Road address and say hello. We are usually around during normal hours, unless there’s something important happening elsewhere. It’s a practical setup for a group like ours. We just take things one day at a time and do our best.
