Sri Vigneswara Caterers is based in the Pragathi Buildings, which is at 33-8-29 in Satyanarayanapuram. We have been working from this spot for quite a while now. It’s a busy part of the neighborhood and we are always coming and going with supplies. Our day starts really early, usually before most people are even awake, so we can get the cooking started for the afternoon orders. We do all sorts of events, but we mostly find ourselves working for local families who need a hand with the food for their functions. It’s just a small group of us in the kitchen. We don't use any fancy machines, just the usual stoves and big utensils you'd expect. Sometimes the kitchen gets really hot and cramped, especially when we have three different orders going at once. We don't have a big marketing team or a polished office to show off. If you want to talk to us, you usually just come by the building or give us a call. We spend most of our time worrying about the quality of the rice or if we have enough spices for the week. It’s a straightforward life, working with food and making sure it gets delivered to the right place at the right time. We just keep our heads down and do the work every single day because people count on us.
