The Aryan International School

Our school is situated right on the Varanasi Kolkata Road. Being on such a major route means there is constant movement outside our gates. You can hear the traffic from the highway all day long, but we’ve gotten used to it. The school itself is a bit of a landmark for people traveling toward Kolkata or coming into Varanasi. We have a mix of kids from different parts of the city. The mornings are always a rush with yellow buses pulling in and parents dropping off their children. We have several buildings on the property. The classrooms are filled with desks and posters the kids have made. We don't go in for anything too corporate; it's just a place where learning happens. Teachers spend their time going over the books and helping students with their sums. There’s a playground area where the students spend their energy during the afternoon break. It’s often quite noisy with games of football or just kids running around. We try to keep things organized, but with so many students, it’s always a little messy, which is fine. The day ends with a lot of honking outside as everyone tries to get back onto the main road. It’s just a busy, functional school sitting on the edge of the city, doing what schools do every day. We don't make a big deal out of it, we just keep things moving steadily.
