Sunrise Convent School

Sunrise Convent School is right in the middle of the Main Market Road area in Varanasi. Being at A 7/65 B means it’s always busy around here. The street noise is just part of the day. We’ve been operating in this part of town for years. It’s a compact school because of the location, but we make use of the space we have. Most of the kids walk here from the nearby neighborhoods. We have a routine that starts early before the market gets too crowded. The teachers here are dedicated people who live close by. We don't use much big talk about what we do. We just teach the subjects and look after the students while they are with us. The building has several floors, and we’re constantly moving up and down the stairs. It’s a bit cramped sometimes, especially when everyone is arriving at once. But we manage. Varanasi is a crowded city, so we are used to it. We have the standard classrooms and a small area for activities. It’s not the biggest school, but it serves the families in this part of the market well. We try to keep things orderly despite the chaos of the city outside our doors. Every day is different, and we just take it one step at a time here.
