Golden Glory Public School

Our school is located in the Bulanala area of Varanasi, right at K 61/14 inside the A G Palace building. If you know this part of the city, you know how crowded and narrow the streets can get, especially during the festival seasons. We have been operating here for several years now, serving the local families who live around the market and the old residential blocks. It is not one of those huge schools with a giant field, but we make the best of the space we have in this historic part of town. The morning bell rings early, and suddenly the quiet of the building is replaced by the sounds of kids reciting lessons or playing during their short breaks. Varanasi is a place with so much history, and being right here in the heart of it means our students are always surrounded by the local culture. Sometimes the power goes out or the traffic outside makes it hard to hear, but we just keep going with the lessons. We do not have a fancy office or a corporate team; it is just a few of us managing the classes and the paperwork. Most of the parents are our neighbors, so we see them at the shops or near the temple all the time. It is a very grounded kind of life here at Golden Glory. We just want the children to learn their subjects and grow up to be sensible adults.
