Sri Sarswati Inter College

Sri Sarswati Inter College is out in Tanda Kalan, which is a bit of a distance from the main city of Varanasi. Our pin code is 221115, and it’s a quiet enough area most of the time. The college is where most of the local teenagers end up for their intermediate studies. It’s a simple setup with a few blocks of classrooms and a bit of open space. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. Most people find out about us from their neighbors or cousins who went here before. The roads around Tanda Kalan can be a bit rough during the monsoon, but the students still show up. We spend our time checking the attendance registers and making sure the chalk and boards are ready for the morning. It’s a very local vibe. You won't find any high-tech gadgets in every room, just benches, desks, and students trying to learn. The staff is mostly from the surrounding areas too, so we all know the local struggles and the heat. We don't try to be a fancy city school. We are just an inter college providing a place for the kids in this part of Varanasi to get their education done. It’s a lot of work to keep it going, but it’s what we do every day. There is always a lot of activity when the bell rings for lunch and the students head out.
