Sofian Carpets

Down in Village Ghosia, we have our setup for Sofian Carpets. It is a dusty kind of place but that is normal for this kind of work. We have been in this village for years and everyone knows the sound of our machines and the way the wool smells when it arrives. We don't have a big corporate office with air conditioning. We just have the workspace and the storage area where everything is piled up. Sometimes it is hard to find a specific pattern because there is so much stuff everywhere. We spend our mornings checking the looms and making sure the threads are ready for the day. My brother usually handles the heavy lifting while I take care of the paperwork at an old wooden desk that wobbles a bit. We get tea brought in twice a day which is the best part of the morning. Ghosia is a small place so news travels fast if something happens. We just try to stay focused on the tasks we have. The floors are concrete and they get cold in the winter so we wear thick socks. It isn't a glamorous life but it is what we know. Sofian Carpets is just a local business trying to get the orders out on time. We use the old ways for most things because that is how we learned. It works for us and the people around here seem to agree.
