Antique Art Centre

Antique Art Centre is situated out in Khamaria District. It’s a bit of a drive for some, but we like the space we have here. We collect and keep all sorts of old things that have some history to them. The building is quite old itself and has a lot of rooms filled with furniture, old frames, and pieces of art that we've picked up over the years. It smells a bit like old wood and polish inside. We spend a lot of our time cleaning things up or trying to figure out where a certain piece came from. It’s a quiet way to live. We don't get a huge rush of people every day, which is fine by us. Usually, someone might stop by because they heard we have something specific they’re looking for. We don't have a modern checkout system or anything like that. We mostly just write things down in a big ledger we keep on the main table. There is a lot of dust that accumulates because of all the old items, so we are constantly moving things around. Some of the stuff we have has been sitting here for years, waiting for the right person to notice it. We aren't looking to become a big chain or anything. We just enjoy the things we have and like sharing them with people who appreciate old craftsmanship. It’s a slow business but it’s an honest one and we like it.
