G.India Public School Sainpur

Our school is located out in Sainpur, right along State Highway 98. It’s a bit of a drive from the main part of Varanasi, so things are a little quieter out this way. G.India Public School has been standing here for a few years now. You can see the building from the road as you drive past. We have a lot of kids from the nearby villages coming in every morning. The staff gets here early to open up the classrooms and get the blackboards ready. It’s a simple setup, really. We don’t have any of those high-tech gadgets you see in the city schools, but the rooms are big and have enough fans for when the heat kicks in. Varanasi summers can be tough, so we try to keep the kids inside during the hottest part of the day. The playground out back is where most of the noise happens during lunch break. We usually see a lot of tractors and local buses passing by on the SH 98 throughout the day. The 221201 area is mostly farmland and small houses, so we are a big part of the local community. Everyone knows the security guard at the front gate. He’s been here since we opened. We spend our days making sure the kids are following the rules and that the place stays clean. It’s hard work but it’s what we do here in Sainpur.
