Dream India School-Gopiganj

Our school is over here in Gopiganj, specifically at House No. 116. It’s a busy spot in Bhadohi. Most mornings we start pretty early before the heat gets too bad. You’ll see parents dropping off their kids on scooters or just walking them through the gate. The building has been here a while and we try to keep the rooms cool. It gets dusty outside sometimes because of the local traffic. Inside, we have desks set up and there is usually a lot of noise from the younger ones during lunch. Teachers are mostly locals from around the area. We do a lot of writing and reading. Sometimes the power goes out, so we just open the windows and keep going with the lessons. It isn’t a fancy place but it works for what the families here need. We have a small yard where the kids run around during the breaks. Usually, there's a lot of chatter about cricket or what’s happening in the market. The bell rings at the end of the day and everyone heads home down the main road. That is basically how it goes here day after day. We just focus on getting through the books and making sure the kids are safe while they are with us. Nothing too complicated really. Just a regular school day in Gopiganj. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a bit now, and most people around here know where we are. It's just a place for learning.
