Dabistan Girls School

Dabistan Girls School is right on Sir Fazle Ali Road, specifically at A 34/57 in the Haritirath area of Varanasi. It is a place where you see girls walking in every morning with their bags. The streets around here are quite narrow, which is pretty common for this part of the city. We have been sitting here in the 221001 zip code area for quite some time now. The building has its old corners and the walls could probably use some fresh paint, but it works for what we need. When the weather gets really humid, the fans in the rooms work hard. You can hear the sounds of the city outside all day long. Sometimes it gets a bit loud because of the traffic on Sir Fazle Ali Road, but the girls are used to it by now. We don't have a big garden or anything, just the space we have. Teachers show up, sit in the staff room for a bit, and then head to their classes. It is a very local sort of place. Neighbors know us and we know them. We don't really do much besides the basic schooling stuff. There are no big flashy signs, just the name on the front. Mostly, it is about making sure the students have a place to sit and some books to read. Life in Haritirath moves at its own pace, and we just follow along with it every single day.
