Narianant Jeevika Mahila Agro Producercompany Limited is a group of women from Vaishali. We are based out of the Vaishali Jeevika Dpcu office. Most of us come from small villages around here and have been working the land or raising animals for a long time. This producer company is how we organize our agro work. It’s not a corporate office with secretaries and fancy coffee. It’s a place where we sit down and figure out how to sell our crops or get better supplies. We are linked with Jeevika, so we have a lot of women involved from different parts of the district. We don’t have a lot of experience with big business talk, we just know what it takes to grow things. Dealing with the weather and the markets is a daily struggle, but doing it together makes it a bit easier. The office can be quite loud and crowded when we all meet up. We don't have a mission statement or any of that. We just want to make sure our work pays off at the end of the day. Vaishali is our home, and we are proud to be doing something for ourselves here. Sometimes the logistics are a mess, and we have to fix things on the fly. It’s a very hands-on way of doing business. We are just local women trying to build something that lasts for our families and neighbors.
