Kakarhatta Agri Producer Company Limited is based right here in the village of Bishanpur Kakarhata. We are part of the Bidupur area in Vaishali. Most of the people involved in this have lived in this same village for our entire lives. We started this company because we wanted a more reliable way for farmers in Shahdullahpur and the other nearby spots to work together. It is definitely not a fancy business. Our office is just a simple room in the village where we keep our logbooks and papers. We spend most of our time out in the fields anyway, so a big office wouldn't make much sense. You won't find any shiny furniture or computers sitting everywhere. We rely on knowing our neighbors personally and trusting each other to do the right thing. It is all about the crops we grow and the soil we work in every day. Sometimes we have our meetings under a large tree because it is much cooler than being inside a cramped room. We talk about the harvest, the current market prices, and what we might need for the next planting season. It is just practical, everyday stuff. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big words or promises. We just want to make sure the farming life in Bidupur stays viable for the next generation of kids. It is a lot of work, and some days are much harder than others when the rain doesn't come as expected.
