Vardan Vaidehi Foundation

Our office is in Gayatri Chamber, room 409, which is close to Jetalpur Gam in the Alkapuri area. It’s a pretty standard office building, nothing too special to look at from the outside. We’ve been operating the Vardan Vaidehi Foundation from here for some time. Most of our days are spent talking to people from the neighborhood who need help with various things. We aren't a big organization with lots of funding, so we have to be careful about how we spend every rupee. It’s just a few of us who take turns being in the office. We handle a lot of the local community stuff that doesn't always get noticed by the bigger groups. The building stays fairly busy during the day, so there’s always a bit of a buzz around. We like being in Alkapuri because it’s central and people can reach us without too much trouble. Sometimes the parking downstairs is a nightmare, but we make it work. We keep our paperwork in folders and try to stay organized, even when things get a bit chaotic. There’s no big corporate vibe here. We just sit at our desks, drink some tea, and see who needs assistance today. It’s honest work and we try to do it as best as we can without making any fuss about it.
