Saurashtra Maitri Manch

You can find Saurashtra Maitri Manch at F-22 in the Shree Nathaji Duplex. We are located near the White Church in Fateh Ganj, which is a good landmark for anyone trying to find us. It’s a nice enough area, and being in a duplex gives us more room than if we were in a tiny shop somewhere. We use the different rooms for storing our supplies and having small meetings. It is a community-run effort, so there is usually someone popping in or out at all hours. Fateh Ganj is a busy place, but our little corner remains relatively peaceful. We have been working from this spot for several years now. It isn't a fancy office with big glass windows or anything like that. It feels a lot more like a home, which I think makes people feel more comfortable when they come to visit us. We deal with various local issues and try to get people to work together. Sometimes we have small gatherings or just sit around and talk about what needs to happen next. It involves a lot of manual work and trying to coordinate with different people. We don't have anyone to handle marketing or write formal letters for us. We just speak plainly and do what needs to be done. Sometimes the roof leaks a bit when the rains are heavy, but we just put out some buckets and keep working. We are just neighbors helping neighbors.
