Tarkari

You can find us over at the Banyan Paradise Resort in Vadodara. We are located in the Karelibaug area, not too far from the Dumad Crossing. It’s a nice spot because it’s a bit away from the main city rush but still easy enough for people to get to. We focus a lot on vegetables and fresh things here. The name Tarkari basically tells you what we are about. We don't try to be a fancy fusion place with tiny portions. It’s more about good food that fills you up. Being part of the resort means we see people who are staying over and also locals from Vemali who just drive over for a meal. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed. We have some trees around and it feels a bit more open than a regular city restaurant. The staff here are just regular folks who live nearby. We don't have a big corporate handbook; we just try to be nice and get the food out hot. Sometimes when the crossing is busy, you can hear a bit of the road, but usually, it’s quiet enough. We spend a lot of time in the kitchen prepping everything from scratch. It’s a lot of chopping and stirring, but that’s the only way to do it right. Vadodara is a good city for food, and we are happy to be a small part of the scene here in Karelibaug.
