Around The Corner Restaurant

Our restaurant is in the Laxmi Apartment building on Sama Road in Vadodara. If you know where the Reliance Fresh is, we are very close to that. We are also right behind Volga Apartment in the Shukla Nagar area. It’s a residential neighborhood, so we get a lot of families coming in. We’ve been running this place for a few years now. The area is usually quite busy with people doing their grocery shopping or coming home from work. We have a decent amount of space inside. It’s not a high-end place with waiters in suits. It is just a local spot. We do most of the work ourselves. We stay open late because many people around Sama Road look for food after dark. Vadodara is a nice city, and this part of it is quite lively. We don't have any big marketing plans. We just put a board outside and that’s about it. My brother helps with the accounts and I look after the kitchen. We have a couple of guys helping with the cleaning. It’s a lot of hours, but we like it. The apartment residents are our main customers. They often come by for a quick dinner after they get back from their offices. We try to keep things steady. It’s just a normal restaurant in a normal neighborhood. We do what we need to do to keep the doors open every day. It’s a living and it keeps us occupied.
